The Colony of Bath

-fromENDoraemon
Doraemon is eating the in silence mostly as he doesn't know the other people around. The only movement he makes is when he exchange looks with Sierra. He tried to held conversation with the other gentlemen, trying to know more of this town, but his mind really is away. All he can think is that he is at last here. He looks up from the food to her, and wonders what will happen next .

Sierra sensed Doraemon's slight uneasiness with not knowing the other guests, and she spoke to him often and inquired after his travels and his family back in Scotland. She reached under the table and gave his hand a squeeze.

"Have you heard from your family since we left Scotland? My brother and sister are not good about writing me...I miss hearing news from home."
-fromENDoraemon
Doraemon holds her hand tight and smiles at her, enjoying the contact."no I haven't heard anything and I know things were not going well, I fear that if I do receive a message it will not contain good news. I can only hope and wait for now. I wonder if I will have to go back, and when will that be."
pnj
Sierra's face immediately showed concern and disappointment at his words.

"Oh no! What is wrong, dear? I do hope you do not have to leave anytime soon. You've only just got here!"
-fromENDoraemon
No worries darling, I was sent here fearing the worse. So I will not have to go, I will stay here with you for quite some time, if this doesn't trouble you.

Kent feels that love is in the air, and peace and quiet stiffens the quiet day. He thinks that this is a calm before the storm, as it hasn't been this quiet in a while.

As he walks through town, he walks to The Rubber Ducky to have a drink. The good bartender handed him a couple glasses of ale before Noresor asked him a question.

"Bartender, do you know of any Noble Lords to which I can give my services to? I feel I have been mentorless these past few months. The Lords and Ladies to which I have gone to for help, have grown distant from me, and I feel everyone grows more distant, and more busier every day."

He paused for a moment, taking a giant swig before going on.

"Bartender, I feel lost. Jah has been good to me in my 8 months in England. Am I hitting a rut? Is he leaving me on my own, to find a Lord on my own? I have abandoned my family, for many reasons, but is this Jah's way of punishing me for abandonment?"

Kent slowly put down his glass and he realized what he must do. He payed the bartender seven pounds for all the glasses.

He got on his horse, a gift from his becoming a Lord, which he no longer was, and rode off into the sunrise, out on the search for a new family, and a Lord to which he may become a Vassal.
Sajanzv
Sajanzv was passing by the town gates when he sees Noresor setting out on another journey. He quicklys calls out to him, "Where to, my dear friend? What is your mission this time?"

How Eire dealt with the ONE

The dinner went well and Sierra began clearing the dishes. She brought out a fruit pie and began serving Sajan, Davon, and Doraemon. The conversation began dying down and Sierra excused herself to check on Jill.

She crept quietly into Jill's room and found her sleeping soundly. Sierra cooled the compress and layed it back over Jill's forehead and pulled the covers around her. She looked truly angelic as she slept.

Upon returning downstairs, Sajan and Davon began making the goodbyes. The sun had set and Sajan wanted to get home to Rosa and Davon wished to see Rosa as well. Both of them asked Sierra to wish Jill well. They thanked her heartily for the dinner and pleasant conversation.

"Gentlemen, you are both welcome in my home anytime! Please take some pie home for Rosa. I am sorry she could not join us tonight."

The men shook hands and bid farewell. Doraemon smiled at Sierra shyly and offered to build a fire, since there was a bit of a chill in the air. Soon, there was a fire crackling in the fireplace and the two of them sat in front chatting about old time and of Scotland....

The conversation began to take a turn for the worse and voices were raised. Doraemon began to pace the room. Sierra did not know what to think. It was all a bad dream...who was this man? She didn't know anymore...

"Doraemon...I'm sorry....all of this obviously was a mistake. I feel like we are strangers....please, just leave....go back to Scotland...leave me."

Doraemon's eyes burned into hers...hurt mixed with anger. He turned to go then turned back toward her:

"You are right, this was a mistake. You are not the person I remember from Scotland."

And with that, he slammed the door behind him. She went to the window and watched his solitary figured walk toward town, knowing she would never see him again.

After heading back into the Rubber Ducky, and having a long talk with Sajan, he realizes he should've looked again in Bath for a Lord.

As he retakes his oath, he now became a Servant of the Halliwells. His soldiers(RP of course XD), and his own sword would belong to them now, as a Retainer.

"Hmm, all this talk of preparation that many have spoken of, I feel I could do more to prepare too. I feel.... empty, like I haven't lived up to my fullest, or to the fullest that Jah wishes I be. Greater things will occur for me, once I settle. I will leave Bath in 8 days, to search for my real family, family that may exist over here."

"But for now, I will enjoy life here in Bath, and ponder whether the bricklayers and lumberers in Bristol will finally finish building the Capital."

As he does this, he relaxes in his seat, as he ponders of a greater destiny and life, than his current, reliving an age, so far behind.
Gregarious
Well me piggies how are you doing today

It has been a blur the past few days has it not? Jill is ill, but seems to be on the mend. A general from out of county accusing our good leaders of wrong doing without a shred of proof. There was some good from that though, I have rarely seen so many diverse people come together to defend our homes. It leaves me with a feeling of security. I have no doubt now, in time of crisis, Somerset will rise and do her part to defend that which we all hold dear.

Ellsbeth has not said anything about my last gift. Perhaps she does not know it was from me. That is as planned, but I confess I am surprised it worked. We seem to have made peace with our lot in this life. She is a deaconess and I a soldier. We will be friends of that I have no doubt, but nothing more can come of this. Jah places tests on our road through life. It is the way we deal with those tests that decides our fates, don't you think?

Well Rosalynn has hired me to plough the field so I must get some breakfast then off to work. An honest days work for an honest days pay.

Eat my friends, grow my pets, make me proud.

Sierra starred off into the darkness long after Doraemon's figure disappeared. A sense of loss filled her heart but it was dulled by the anger that also resided there. He had told her something to which she could not believe--didn't want to believe....and they reached an impasse. He seemed so perfect in other ways...but certain beliefs and values were non-negotiable, and she clung firmly to hers.

She stepped out into the night air and looked down the road in the opposite direction. She spied a light coming from Greg's house. It had been some time since they had gone separate ways, but her heart still sometimes winced at the thought of him. She did miss his company very much though...perhaps she should see about visiting him soon. Sierra smiled at the thought of seeing her dear friend again, because he was still very dear to her. He may never be her husband but she loved him as much as was possible for one friend to love another.

"He will make a wonderful husband and father someday. I truly wish him well..." She whispered into the night.

Sierra then turned and went inside once more and finished the dishes from the evening meal and tidied the room a bit. Then she mounted the stairs once more and checked in on Jill--still sleeping. Luke was laying at the foot of the bed curled into a ball. Sierra stroked his silky fur and he picked up his head to be scratched. She smiled and obliged him.

"I'm glad you are keeping Jill company and her feet warm, Luke!"

She then went to her own room and slipped into her night gown, washed her face, brushed out her hair, and then finally blew out the candle she had been carrying. She climbed under the blankets and closed her eyes. Sleep did not come right away. Her mind whirled around the days events. She sighed and began to pray. Praying always helped settle her heart.

"O Holy Jah...I want to pray for..."

She listed all the things that weighed on her heart, and then began praying for family and friends specifically. It was not long before she drifted off into a peaceful sleep. She had comfort in knowing Jah was bigger than anything in her life.

Jill rolled over in her deep sleep and woke up suddenly, catching herself before she rolled out of bed.

Gasping, she stabilized her position and sat up. The room was dark, a hint of moonlight coming through the window. Luke sat up and mewed querelously. "Hi buddy" she scratched his head and he rubbed against her hand.

The house was quiet. Knowing it was probably the middle of the night, she got up, a little dizzy still, and crept quietly down the hall. She stuck her head cautiously into Sierra's room, where Sierra's still form and even breathing told her all she needed to know.

Thinking a glass of water might help, she started carefully down the stairs. She missed the third-to-last step in the dark and fell heavily down the remaining stairs.

Ow. So much for being quiet.

A loud crash awoke Sierra suddenly

"Who?...Wha...huh?" She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and stumbled out into the hallway--nearly tripping over Luke who has also come to see what the commotion was. The moonlight illuminated the hallway and stairs enough that Sierra could make out a human form lying at the base of the stairs. Fear immediately gripped her heart thinking it was a thief or another would-be kidnapper. With considerable effort, Sierra stood at the top of the stairs and shouted down to the unknown intruder, hoping he would not notice the trembling in her voice:

"Who goes there?! I...have a weapon...and I'm not afraid to use it!"
Arcanejill
Sierra came rushing out, as Jill knew she would after she'd fallen. Laying there for a minute to catch her breath, Sierra started yelling something about a weapon.

"Unnnnh. No no no it's just me. I... umm... felt like relaxing at the bottom of the stairs." She gave a little laugh, knowing Sierra would see right through her and know she fell. Jill started to sit up, wincing when she went to move her left ankle.
pnj
"Oh Jill!"

Sierra flew down the stairs and to Jill's side.

"What are you doing walking around in the dark? You could have broken something! Let me get a candle and let's take a look..."

Sierra fetched a candle and came back beside Jill.

"Can you move at all? Tell me what hurts, dear..."
