= [ORP] The Launce: Launceston Castle

--Sarah.cathain
The ride from the inn last night was slow. Sarah didn't know why they had to go to the castle, and without Lord Chris. She had to admit that it was bigger than the Crystal Tear manor in Ros, and she was glad there was a guard at the gate. Once they stopped at the stables, Lady Roberta was nearly accosted by someone that Sarah would have considered a possible threat, but it seemed they knew each other, so Sarah kept her thoughts to herself. Once Lady Roberta and the children were safe on the ground, Sarah moved to get off the cart herself, but this man, Geoff, offered to help her down. Does he think I cannot get down by myself? she thought to herself. She nearly refused his help, but then thought that if he was a danger, it would be to her benefit if he thought her incapable. T-thank ye, Sir, she said with her Irish drawl. Mi'Lady, best be tae git the children settled, if we be staying long here. They be needin' tae eat soon as weel.

Of course, Sarah. It has been a long ride from Barnstaple. Geoff could you take care of Duchess, while I take everyone inside? Thank you. I took the children's hands and, with Sarah following, headed for the kitchen door.

Jane had heard the cart pull in and was opening the door before we got there. Mi'Lady Boo. It is good t' have ya home. Is this the girl ya told us to expect? I thought ya said nearer to Miss Lily's age?

I laughed, forgetting I had told them to prepare for little Morgaine. No, Jane, this is Ceili and Donal O'Cathain de Peche. And this is Sarah Cathain, their nanny. Jane, Chris and I adopted the children while in Egremont. Jane took a closer look at the children. Could you get us all something to eat, Jane? It was a bit of a drive here.

Oh! Aye, Mi'Lady. Cook will be pleased to feed them I am sure. Jane said.
